1. Introduction of Seager Memorial Clinic
Seager Memorial Clinic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Ogden, Utah. Established in 1988 by the compassionate efforts of Dr. Floyd Seager and his wife, Dauna, our clinic was born out of a simple act of kindness that sparked a profound commitment to serve the underserved in our community. We provide free medical, dental, vision, and mental health care to those in need, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Dr. Floyd Seager’s journey began when he witnessed a homeless man collapse on the streets of Ogden, devoid of any access to medical care. This pivotal moment ignited the vision to create a haven of health and hope for the less fortunate. With unwavering determination, the Seagers, in partnership with the Ogden Rescue Mission, established Seager Memorial Clinic on September 16, 1988.
Though the Seagers have passed away, their legacy continues to shine brightly through the dedication of over 170 volunteers who selflessly devote their time and expertise to our cause. These top professionals in the medical, dental, vision, and mental health fields have made it their mission to uplift the underserved, fostering a culture of compassion and care within our clinic.
Over the years, Seager Clinic has become a beacon of hope for countless individuals facing health challenges. Our dedication has led to over 80,000 patient visits to date, and we continue to serve approximately 2,500 individuals each year. These numbers represent more than mere statistics; they embody the transformative impact of our efforts on the lives of the underserved.
